I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Galaxy Evolution Group led by Prof. Dr. F. Bertoldi at the Argelander-Institut für Astronomie (AIfA) in Bonn, Germany. I joined AIfA in 2012, after having spent three years as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Infrared Group led by Prof. Dr. R. Genzel within the Max-Planck-Institut für Extraterrestrische Physik (MPE). Prior to this, I completed my Ph.D. at the CEA Saclay under the joined supervision of Dr. D. Elbaz and Dr. R. R. Chary.
My research focuses on the formation and evolution of galaxies and the star-formation history of the Universe, through the study of the far-infrared/submm properties of high-redshift galaxies. As a member of the German ALMA Regional Center (ARC), I provide users support to German and Austrian astronomers interested in using ALMA. This users support happens at each phase of the life cycle of a ALMA project: from a face-to-face support during the preparation of their proposal, guidance for the preparation of their scheduling block, to the data quality assessment of their ALMA successful projects. |
